Fourth Stop: Swim Lessons
I teach swim lessons at the local pool, where I demonstrate the basics of all of the levels of swimming ranging from, dunking heads underwater to refining their strokes. As a swimmer, I'm experienced in all levels of swimming, so I'm particularly focused on perfecting their strokes, but I do enjoy helping students grasp the main concepts of freestyle, or backstroke as well. Due to a lack of records at the pool, this is a rough estimate of the time spent teaching. Most of the time, we offered three sessions of lessons per day. On occasion, I will only have taught two of the three sessions. Each session is an hour long.

Adaptive Aquatics
Each year, the City of Hilliard holds a session of swim lesson to benefit the needs of children with special needs. Each instructor is given a student and has the opportunity to help him or her become comfortable in the water, whether that means helping them put their face below the surface, or learning to move their arms in a freestyle motion.

Summer 2014.............................................................................................................................. Four Hours
